The only thing the fans of Boston got to celebrate was when Ray Bourque brought the Stanley Cup to City Hall Plaza in Boston after he won the Cup with the Colorado Avalanche

Some of the teams that Jacobs paid to put on the Ice over the years would have a better chance to win with a roster full of monkeys.

"Boston Bruins – One of the NHL’s most successful teams." Click for whole article
Since 1924, the Boston Bruins have been scrapping, skating and scoring goals. Most of all, they’ve been winning games as well as the hearts of New England hockey fans.
"As one of the NHL’s Original Six teams, the Bruins’ brand of hockey has been unmistakable:(YOU GOT THAT RIGHT) relentless play and single-minded determination, leading to five Stanley Cup championships. (ZERO SINCE JACOBS TOOK OVER) Last year (2004), the Bruins had the second-best record in the NHL."
"When Jeremy Jacobs purchased the Bruins he was determined to prove that a great NHL franchise could both win and maintain a healthy bottom line. With the legendary Harry Sinden as general manager and president, the Bruins have maintained that delicate balance between winning (WHAT HAVE WE WON???) and staying financially sound. In fact, the Bruins have become one of the most valuable franchises in hockey and one of the most celebrated teams in the NHL." (CELEBRATED?? OH YEAH, I GUESS WHEN RAY BOURQUE BROUGHT THE CUP TO BOSTON WE CELEBRATED)
"There are some (ALL), including Boston sports talk media and die-hard Bruins fans, who are constantly applying pressure to spend more in hopes that increased player salaries will translate into an improved chance of winning the Stanley Cup – even though history shows that player payroll does not translate to a winning record, and certainly doesn’t translate to winning the cup." (HAHA, SEE DETROT,DALLAS, AND COLORADO, COMBINED FOR 6 CUPS SINCE 1997)
"According to Charlie Jacobs, the Bruins’ executive vice president, the team’s 2002-03 edition is a prime example of Bruins hockey. Established stars such as center Joe Thornton (TRADED AND BECAME ART ROSS WINNER IN SAN JOSE) and right wing Glen Murray, (LOST WIITHOUT JOE) both NHL All-Stars in 2003, and promising rookies such as forward Martin Samuelsson, (WHO?) exemplify the traditional Bruins brand of hockey."
"Jacobs is also quick to point out that his dad’s reputation is not anything like the Boston press conveys. “My dad is probably one of the most mischaracterized people in Boston. He cares deeply about the team (THE TEAMS HOTDOG SALES) and is a huge fan (OF SELLING HOTDOGS) – when he’s not in attendance, he’s watching the game on television. He also understands the value of letting a great group of experts (HARRY SINDEN AND MIKE O'CONNELL WERE THE EXPERTS??) manage this team – and has never been and never will be a sideline owner. His focus has always been on putting the very best product (HAHA) on the ice for the fans of Boston and firmly believes the show should be on the ice and not on him. He is highly competitive and he wants nothing more than to win and ultimately deliver the Stanley Cup to the fans of Boston.” (ROLLS EYES)
"With a couple of NHL teams teetering on financial ruin, the Bruins rank among the top profit-wise, In fact, they are one of the few that are profitable at all." (FINALY SOMETHING ACURATE)
“Harry has done an amazing job,” says Jacobs. “The Bruins are among the most admired professional sports franchises, and much of it has to do with Harry’s love for hockey, hard work and management savvy.”
